Do You Think You're Too Late to Change Your Career?

Perhaps you're right on time.
One of the most common questions I hear from professional women is:
"Is it really possible to change careers at this stage?"
"Does it make sense to start over after investing so many years in my current path?"
"What if I've left it too late?"
Yet research and real-life stories tell us something very different.
The average age at which women make significant career changes is around 39.
Many women build not their first career, but their second or even third career in their 40s and beyond.
Because the decisions we make in our twenties are not always aligned with who we become later in life.
The career we chose at 20 may not reflect the person we aspire to be at 40.
I know this not only as a coach, but through my own experience.
I have worked in corporate leadership roles.
I founded and grew my own business.
I built a brand and successfully sold it.
I relocated to the UK.
I rebuilt my career in a new country.
Today, I continue to work in a leadership role within the corporate world while also supporting others through professional coaching.
Looking back, I have learned that career change is often less frightening than we imagine.
Because when you move into a new chapter, you do not leave your experience behind.
You take your leadership skills with you.
Your problem-solving abilities.
Your communication skills.
Your resilience.
Your professional knowledge and life experience.
Nothing is lost.
It is simply transferred into a new context.
Perhaps the goal is not to start from scratch.
Perhaps the goal is to build on everything you have already achieved and take it in a new direction.
So, ask yourself:
Am I really too late?
Or am I simply clearer than ever about what I truly want?
Have you ever reached a point in your career where you thought:
"Maybe I want to do something different?"
